GSA Unveils 80 Small Biz Awardees on $15B Alliant 2 GWAC Vehicle

The General Services Administration has awarded 80 companies positions on the small business track of a potential 10-year, $15 billion governmentwide acquisition contract vehicle for information technology platforms and services.

GSA listed the “apparent” winners on the Alliant 2 Small Business GWAC in a pre-award notice posted Thursday on FedBizOpps.

Alliant 2 SB has a base period of five years and five option years and sets the minimum contract guarantee for each contractor at $2,500.

The award came nearly a month after GSA selected 61 companies for the potential 10-year, $50 billion unrestricted portion of Alliant 2.

The agency requested proposals for both tracks of the contract in June 2016.

The Alliant 2 SB master contract’s scope covers cloud computing, big data, digital government, open-source integration, internet of things, enterprise resource planning, web hosting and analytics, software development, virtualization, network infrastructure and operations, 3D printing integration, data center consolidation and related IT services.

GSA said in a solicitation notice that it could award task orders in the form of fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, incentive, labor-hour and time-and-materials contracts.
