Hiten Chadha, former global senior practice leader for Amazon Web Services’ federal financial practice, has joined Cherokee Federal as vice president and technology practice leader.
He will oversee the development and implementation of information technology offerings for the federal government in his new position, the Cherokee Nation Businesses division said Monday.
“With experience in building complex technology solutions and leading large teams, Hiten is a natural fit for Cherokee Federal. We look forward to working alongside him to find new and innovative ways to forecast and solve customer needs,” said Steven Bilby, president of Cherokee Federal.
At AWS, Chadha helped develop a long-term plan to support customers’ cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
Before he joined Amazon’s cloud business, Chadha served as a partner and managing director at IBM (NYSE: IBM) for more than 17 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He also worked for professional services firm PwC and enterprise IT provider Optimos.
