Ashutosh Gokhale, chief technology officer of HII’s mission technologies division, has joined Modern Technology Solutions Inc. as executive vice president and chief financial officer, MTSI announced Monday.
“As MTSI continues its growth trajectory, Ashutosh’s leadership, financial expertise, and strategic perspective will help position the company for continued success while advancing its mission to solve the nation’s most technically challenging defense and security problems,” said Kevin Robinson, MTSI president and CEO.
What Is Ashutosh Gokhale’s Career History?
Gokhale was part of HII’s mission technologies business for more than five years. He was instrumental in integrating Alion after it was acquired by HII in 2021. His stewardship also resulted in the division’s annual revenue growth to $3 billion.
Prior to joining HII, Gokhale spent 14 years at government tech firm Maximus. He started as director of global pricing and went on to become vice president of finance – human services in the company’s North America operations. He was later promoted to senior vice president and CFO of the federal services division.
From 2005 to 2007, Gokhale served as director of financial planning and reporting at EMCOR Facilities Services. In 2003, he worked at US Airways as manager of financial planning and analysis. He spent his earlier professional years at Verizon as lead software engineer and at United Technologies Corp. when it owned the Sikorsky aircraft business, where he was part of the new business development team.
What Is Ashutosh Gokhale’s Educational Background?
He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Government College of Engineering in Amravati, India. He also has a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech. Gokhale is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He completed his master of business administration degree in finance and general management at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
