Gary Johnston, a retired U.S. Army major general, has joined the board of advisors of Pinehurst, North Carolina-based professional services company Leyden Solutions, GovCon Wire has learned.
He will provide organizational change management and mentorship support to Leyden’s executive team as the company pursues growth in delivering support services to defense, intelligence, national security and select commercial customers.
“Gary brings decades of experience as an innovator and leader of intelligence and security organizations that have solved complex problems in the defense of our nation,” said Thong Nguyen, founder and president of Leyden Solutions.
Johnston brings to Leyden’s advisory board over 34 years of leadership experience within the Army and the Intelligence Community.
He previously served as commanding general of Army Intelligence and Security Command and as director of intelligence, J2, for Special Operations Command and NATO-Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan. He is a recognized leader in advancing organizational transformation, diversity and training.
