She will oversee Yext’s sales arm responsible for serving U.S. federal, state and local government agencies in the newly created role, the company said in an Aug. 2 news release.
Cook said Yext has helped the State Department and the World Health Organization deliver information related to COVID-19 and that she looks forward to developing a team that is focused on realizing the full potential of the company’s AI search platform in the public sector.
She held the same position at Blue Prism prior to joining Yext. She previously worked at SAS Institute as federal civilian sales account director for the Department of Commerce and manager of federal civilian sales at LexisNexis.
