She will oversee talent acquisition, business unit partnership, employee engagement, talent mobility, compensation and benefits and other HR functions and will report to Carey Smith, president and CEO of Parsons and a 2021 Wash100 Award winner, as part of the company’s leadership team, the company said Monday.

Prior to Parsons, Balaguer previously worked at Serco Inc. as senior vice president and CHRO. She also held senior HR positions at Engility, CACI International (NYSE: CACI) and Raytheon.
