What Are the Requirements for Contractors?
The Navy said vendors must meet specific technical and security requirements to participate in the competition. These include having cross-domain capabilities approved by the National Cross Domain Solutions Management Office and providing a National Security Agency-certified end-item cryptographic unit.
Offerors must also complete a Military Critical Technical Data Agreement to access solicitation materials. The Department of War expects to award the contract in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026.
What Capabilities Will TCTS II Provide?
TCTS II is a scalable and flexible platform developed by Collins Aerospace, Seapower Magazine reported. The system includes airborne, ground, remote range and portable support subsystems to support realistic combat training scenarios.
TCTS II also offers enhanced threat environments and interoperability with existing training infrastructure, allowing operators to conduct both live monitored and autonomous training across multiple aircraft platforms.
