What Is the Scope of the Army Contract?
Under the award, CACI will provide Agile software development support and software-defined platforms to accelerate feature delivery, improve system quality and enhance flexibility and adaptability.
The company will continue work on IPPS-A Increment II as part of Managing Army’s Human Capital – Innovation, Integration and Implementation, or MAHC-III. The effort aims to advance a single, integrated platform to operate and maintain the Army’s human capital management system.
What Is IPPS-A?
IPPS-A is the Army’s online human resources system designed to deliver integrated HR capabilities across all service components. It eliminates 50 of the military branch’s disparate HR systems and is designed to streamline work processes to help the service’s HR professionals standardize complex data and maintain personnel data security.
The platform’s Release 3 deployment in 2023 extended access to all three Army components. Since then, more than 1 million unique users have logged into the system, enabling soldiers to access personal records, update information and manage pay and benefits through a centralized portal.
CACI has been supporting IPPS-A since 2015. In January 2025, the company received a $61 million contract from the Army to continue providing support for the system.
