Lentech has appointed longtime executive Mike Majarov as chief innovation and information technology officer, signaling a push to scale its technology strategy as the company expands its footprint in cloud, cybersecurity and digital modernization.

Majarov will oversee enterprise architecture, infrastructure and emerging technology development, including agentic artificial intelligence capabilities tailored to mission needs, Lentech said Thursday in a LinkedIn post.

The appointment comes as the employee-owned contractor continues positioning itself as a next-generation managed service provider supporting federal defense, intelligence and civil customers.

What Will Mike Majarov Oversee in the New Role?

As chief innovation and information technology officer, Majarov will expand strategic partnerships and align internal technology investments, including in space systems engineering, operations and technical capabilities, with business growth priorities.

Who Is Mike Majarov?

Majarov brings more than three decades of experience across federal and commercial technology environments, including over 15 years at Lentech.

He most recently served as the company’s vice president of IT solutions. Earlier, as vice president, he was responsible for day-to-day operations, business functions and revenue growth across Lentech.

His background also includes leadership roles in data center services, secure hosting and cloud-based infrastructure.

Prior to joining Lentech, Majarov held roles at SAVVIS, where he led solution engineering teams focused on complex hosting, virtualization, security and network architectures.

How Does the Appointment Fit Into Lentech’s Broader Growth Push?

The leadership move aligns with a series of recent steps by Lentech to expand its capabilities and market position.

The company transitioned to a 100 percent employee-owned structure in 2025, a move designed to strengthen long-term growth and workforce alignment.

It has also secured a spot on the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract vehicle, which supports rapid delivery of advanced capabilities to the warfighter.

Recently, Lentech achieved Amazon Web Services Managed Service Provider status, validating its ability to deliver end-to-end cloud life cycle management and modernization support to federal and commercial customers.
