Deloitte Vet John Gilkes Joins Grant Thornton's US Segment as Forensic Advisory Services Principal

John Gilkes, formerly a principal at Deloitte, has joined Grant Thornton International’s U.S. member firm as principal for forensic advisory services.

The three-decade advisory and consulting industry veteran will be responsible for helping grow Grant Thornton’s forensic service offerings in both the public and private sector markets.

Gilkes will work in the professional services firm’s MetroDC office in Arlington, Virginia.

He previously worked at Deloitte’s U.S. arm for almost 14 years, with a focus on anti-corruption consultancy and anti-fraud services, and at FTI Consulting as a senior managing director.

The University of London’s Imperial College alumnus was part of an advisory group that supported the 2009 Stolen Asset Recovery initiative by the World Bank and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
