Carson will lead a team of Effectual solution architects responsible for developing technology modernization services designed for government customers, the company said Tuesday.
His appointment comes three months after Effectual announced it will help the Government National Mortgage Association build a system that could integrate AWS services with third-party tools as part of a $140 million contract.
He most recently served as senior technical account manager of strategic accounts at AWS and has earned seven AWS certifications in various areas such as DevOps and security.
Previously, Carson was a cloud senior architect at JHC Technology, which Effectual acquired in January 2020.
