Richard Smith, a former CACI International (NYSE: CACI) vice president responsible for Department of Homeland Security portfolio, has been appointed to a similar position at ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT), G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
In his previous capacity, Smith oversaw CACI’s DHS service offerings and led the development of the company’s enterprise information technology service strategy.
His government career includes roles as chief technology officer and chief information security officer of the Transportation Security Administration, senior director of information security at Freddie Mac and deputy chief of engineering and implementation at U.S. Africa Command.
He spent 23 years in U.S. Navy reservist, where he previously led defensive operations for U.S. Tenth Fleet Cyber Command.
