The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has indicated its intent to award task orders to Aerospace Corp. and Mitre for systems engineering services to support the agency’s Office of Space Commerce and Satellite and Information Acquisition Division.
Work will also include technical and program management assistance as well as fielding and demonstration support.
In a separate notice, NOAA said it plans to award Mitre a sole-source task order to help develop the Open Architecture Data Repository in support of commercial and civil customers’ space traffic management and space situational awareness missions.
The nonprofit company may also perform analysis and integration work, according to the agency.
Work under both agreements will take place from Jan. 16, 2021 through Jan. 15, 2022.
