Kratos Closes ASC Signal Buy in Space Ground Tech Market Push

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has wrapped up its purchase of the ASC Signal business from Communications & Power Industries in an approximately $35M cash transaction.

Kratos first announced the deal June 16 and the company said Tuesday it made the acquisition to add antennas designed for government and commercial use to its space ground systems portfolio.

ASC manufactures high-frequency radios and air traffic control and weather radars.
