Jacobs Wins $225M Air Force Rocket Propulsion Tech R&D Contract

Jacobs (NYSE: J) has won a potential eight-year, $225.1M contract help U.S. Air Force researchers explore rocket and propulsion technologies at Edwards AF Base in California.

The AF Test Center is the contracting activity and received two offers for the research-and-development project via a competition acquisition process, the Department of Defense said Friday.

DoD expects on-site contract services to conclude by Jan. 31, 2028. The service branch will obligate $197K in fiscal 2019 and 2020 R&D, test and engineering funds at the time of award.
