Army Vet Steven Smith Named Loch Harbour EVP, COO; Retired Gen. David Maddox Joins Board

Steven Smith, a retired U.S. Army major general, has joined professional services company Loch Harbour Group as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

He brings four decades of military and corporate experience in various areas such as cyber defense, strategic planning, project and financial management, product development and network operations, LHG said.

His 39-year military career has included time as commanding general of the 335th Theater Signal Command and as chief information officer of the Army Central Command.

Smith also held various positions at Convergys, Barclay’s Bank International, OES & Associates and Fleet Mortgage Group.

LHG added that retired Gen. David Maddox, a former commander of all U.S. Army forces in Europe, joined the firm as a member of its board of directors and Chief Financial Officer Haydn Hislop has taken an additional role as VP.

The Alexandria, Va.-based service-disabled, veteran-owned company offers project and program management, training, information technology, acquisition, analysis, test and evaluation and logistics support to government clients.
