Jessica Stewart Appointed Johns Hopkins APL Mission Area Exec for Nat'l Security Analysis

Jessica Stewart, who joined Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in 2016, has been promoted to mission area executive for national security analysis at APL.

APL said Wednesday Stewart most recently served as the lab’s program area manager for innovative operational concepts and supervised teams in cross-functional areas that span military operations and readiness issues.

She has spearheaded analytic efforts of the for combatant commands over the past three years.

Before APL, she worked for the Center for Naval Analyses as senior research scientist and led studies related to military operations, disaster preparedness and emergency response.

Stewart is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
