Ed Meehan, formerly chief operating officer at Accenture™s (NYSE: ACN) federal services business, has joined management consulting services provider Guidehouse as aerospace and defense segment leader.
He will oversee the company™s growth strategy and introduce innovative measures, commercial practices and new capabilities to the customer base, Guidehouse said Tuesday.
Meehan™s œfocus on people and culture aligns with our key principles and he will play an important strategic role in our future business growth, Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Meehan spent 27 years at Accenture, where he served as sales leader and head of safety and citizen services portfolio with a focus on law enforcement, diplomacy and homeland security agencies.
He is a member of the board of directors of The Women™s Center, a nonprofit resource and counseling organization.
Guidehouse is PwC™s former public sector business acquired by Veritas Capital in May 2018.
