Science Systems and Applications Inc. has received a potential five-year, $493M contract to perform electrical and electronic engineering support services for NASA‘s Maryland-based Goddard Space Flight Center.
The company will study, design, develop, fabricate, integrate, test, verify and operate various space, aerial and ground systems under the Electrical Systems Engineering Services contract, the space agency said Thursday.
Services will aim to support development efforts of the center’s engineering and technology directorate.
Work will take place at NASA and SSAI facilities over a five-year ordering period beginning Nov. 1, following a 60-day phase-in period from Sept. 2.
SSAI is a Lanham, Md.-based provider of engineering, analytics, research and development services in the areas of earth and space sciences.
