Kratos Eyes Upcoming NAVAIR Contract for Supply of 60 Subsonic Aerial Target Drones

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 18, 2018 — Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) anticipates an order for 60 BQM-177A unmanned subsonic aerial targets from Naval Air Systems Command for delivery between the second quarter of fiscal year 2020 and the second quarter of the following year, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Tuesday NAVAIR issued a notice July 3 on its intent to award a contract to Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems as the manufacturer and sole integrator of the surface-launched drones that work to mimic anti-ship cruise missiles.
