Biggs Porter
Biggs Porter, former executive vice president and chief financial officer of Fluor (NYSE: FLR), has been appointed to serve as EVP and CFO at Westminster, Colo.-based space company Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) beginning on Aug. 15.
Maxar said Thursday Porter worked at Fluor from 2012 to 2017 and before that served as finance chief at Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC) for six years.
He previously held accounting and finance leadership positions at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC).
Porter started his career at Arthur Young and Co. as an audit principal. He currently serves on the board of Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) and Bristow Group.
The certified public accountant appeared twice in Treasury and Risk magazine’s list of the top 100 most influential people in the finance industry and received Institutional Investor magazine’s top CFO award for the engineering and construction industry.
