Globecomm Selected as Maritime Distribution Partner for Iridium Certus


TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 6, 2018 — Globecomm Systems will serve as one of the first maritime distribution partners for Iridium Communications’ (Nasdaq: IRDM) new L-band broadband service anchored on the NEXT satellite constellation, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Globecomm said Iridium Certus will become a key offering for its clients and the agreement will allow the company to offer shipowners and operators expanded connectivity services.
