Gerry Fasano: Leidos Seeks to Expand Gov’t IT Work Through Alliant 2 GWAC

Gerry Fasano

Gerry Fasano, an executive vice president and chief of business development and strategy at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has said the company will continue to provide information technology expertise to federal clients through its position on the General Services Administration‘s Alliant 2 contract.

Leidos said Thursday it will vie for IT task orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract worth up to $50 billion over 10 years.

Fasano noted the Reston, Va-based contractor supported the previous iteration of the governmentwide acquisition vehicle.

Sixty-one companies hold Alliant 2 spots and are eligible to support agencies in the areas of big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile development, biometrics and identity management, shared IT services and internet-of-things.
