Peraton Supports NASA’s InSight Mars Lander Mission


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 11, 2018 — Peraton performed compatibility testing and validation of ground stations and spacecraft in support of NASA‘s Deep Space Network designed to track a Mars lander recently launched aboard United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Peraton said Wednesday its team maintains and operates six DSN antennas, network operations facilities as well as communications and networks systems for the Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport or InSight lander mission.
