Harris Wins Potential $130M Video Data Link Radio IDIQ

Harris (NYSE: HRS) has won a potential five-year, $130 million contract to develop, produce and sustain handheld video data link radios for the U.S. Air Force.

Three offers were submitted to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center for the indefinitely-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive acquisition process, the Defense Department said Friday.

The service branch will obligate $6,029,998 in fiscal 2017 research and development funds at the time of award.

Harris’ RF Communications division will perform contract work at a company facility in Rochester, New York, through April 2023.
