Richard Harkey, former vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller at Engility (NYSE: EGL), has joined Whitney, Bradley & Brown as senior VP and chief financial officer.
Harkey will oversee WBBs contracts, finance, information technology operations and facilities in his new role, the companysaid Tuesday.
Rich is a proven leader with in-depth experience in mergers and acquisitions, treasury, regulatory compliance, tax and financial reporting, WBB CEO Robert Olsen said.
Olsen added that Harkeys experience in acquisition evaluation and business operations integration would be instrumental in the Reston, Virginia-based program management and consulting services contractors growth efforts.
Before his move to Engility, Harkey previously served as VP of finance and chief accounting officer at Sotera Defense Solutions.
He is a certified public accountant who also worked at PwC as a senior manager.
