Richard Harkey, former vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller at Engility (NYSE: EGL), has joined Whitney, Bradley & Brown as senior VP and chief financial officer.
Harkey will oversee WBB™s contracts, finance, information technology operations and facilities in his new role, the companysaid Tuesday.
œRich is a proven leader with in-depth experience in mergers and acquisitions, treasury, regulatory compliance, tax and financial reporting, WBB CEO Robert Olsen said.
Olsen added that Harkey™s experience in acquisition evaluation and business operations integration would be instrumental in the Reston, Virginia-based program management and consulting services contractor™s growth efforts.
Before his move to Engility, Harkey previously served as VP of finance and chief accounting officer at Sotera Defense Solutions.
He is a certified public accountant who also worked at PwC as a senior manager.
