Oshkosh‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense unit has secured a potential $100.1 million contract modification to deliver 1,727 equipment kits and support 258 U.S. Army joint light tactical vehicles.
The Army Contracting Command obligated the full amount from fiscal 2017 and 2018 Army “other” procurement funds, Marine Corps procurement funds and Office of Chief Army Reserve Funds, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
Work will occur in Oshkosh, Wisconsin through May 31, 2019.
The contractor secured a similar contract in August worth $195 million for the delivery of 748 Joint Light Tactical Tactical Vehicles along with 2,359 installed and packaged kits.
