Microsoft, ERAU Launch STEM, IT Training Program for Transitioning Military


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 29, 2017 — Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has partnered with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to offer training to military service members for potential civilian careers in information technology, science, technology, engineering and math, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

The U.S. Marine Corps said Saturday the ERAU-Microsoft Software and Systems Academy in Quantico, Virginia, will deliver an 18-week program to train transitioning service members in areas such as server and cloud administration, cloud application development and database administration as well as practice resume writing, networking and job interviews.
