Dell EMC’s Cameron Chehreh Talks Factors to Consider in Agency Hybrid Cloud Transition

Cameron Chehreh

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2017 — Cameron Chehreh, chief technology officer of Dell EMC‘s federal business unit, has said some government agencies consider engineering and microservices as key factors in their transition from legacy to hybrid cloud information technology systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Chehreh, who also serves as a vice president and chief operating officer of Dell EMC Federal, told Federal News Radio in an interview published Thursday that agencies will need to integrate acquisition, technology, finance and mission in their cloud initiatives.

“The definition of cloud has really, really changed, and it’s really about your engineering strategy, how you build applications, these fourth-generation applications that are driving digital transformation into the next industrial revolution,” he said.
