TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 6, 2017 — Parsons will extend its surveillance services in Lebanon to help deter, detect and prohibit weapons of mass destruction at the border with Syria under a task order from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday it will provide new equipment and related training, as well as integrate border security surveillance networks at the 233-mile border in support of Lebanon’s Border Security Project.

“We are excited to continue supporting DTRA in its mission to reduce the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction,” said Carey Smith, Parsons federal group president.
