Mark Monroe, former vice president of finance and corporate controller at Deltek, has joined Arlington, Virginia-based contractor PAEas corporate controller.
He was most recently responsible for Deltek’s global accounting, corporate governance and financial reporting and analysis functions, as well as oversaw the financial aspects of six acquisition deals the enterprise software vendor previously entered into,  PAE said Monday.
“Mark brings over 30 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in public accounting and internal controls function, †said PAE CEO John Heller.
“His expertise and proven success in these areas aligns perfectly to support our growth strategy, ” Heller added.
Before he joined Deltek in late 2012, Monroe served as VP of internal audit and chief audit officer at SafeNet, a cybersecurity business that Gemalto acquired in 2014.
