The U.S. Air Force has awarded five companies contract modifications worth $66.7 million combined for medical support services at 67 military treatment facilities across the U.S., District of Columbia and Guam.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday the modifications extend the ordering period for the Air Force’s Medical Support Services contract through May 24, 2018.
Contractors can vie for task orders to assist Air Force Medical Service staff in certified technical, clerical and medical specialized operations.
