Ace Electronics Subsidiary to Produce Army Installation Kits Under Potential $994M DISA Contract

The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded Ace Electronics‘ defense systems business a potential 10-year, $994 million contract to produce installation kits for the U.S. Army.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes a minimum guarantee of $1 million and work will occur at a company facility in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, the Defense Department said Monday.

Five proposals were submitted to the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization through an online-based solicitation.

DISA will obligate $2 million in fiscal 2015 and fiscal 2016 “other” procurement Army funds for the first delivery order under the contract.

The contract’s base period of performance will run from Dec. 19, 2016 to Dec. 18, 2019 and work could extend through Dec. 18, 2026 if all options are exercised.
