TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 17, 2016 â Boeing (NYSE: BA) plans toÂ consolidate facilities and workloads across some U.S. sites to support efforts to drive the operational efficiency of its defense, space and security unit, ExecuitveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday it aims to reduce office spaceÂ by approximately 4.5 million square feet; close its sites in El Paso, Texas, and Newington, Virginia; and increase employment in itsÂ Los Angeles County, St. Louis and Huntsville facilities by the end of 2020.
