Georgia Tech Research Institute Lands $134M MDA R&D Support IDIQ


research-and-development-RDThe Georgia Tech Research Institute has received a potential five-year, $134 million contract to provide research, development and engineering services to the Missile Defense Agency.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers advanced and basic technology R&D support and development of sensor systems for MDA, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Work will occur in Atlanta through March 29, 2021.

MDA will use its research, test, development and evaluation funds to support the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, according to DoD.

GTRI is a nonprofit research organization under the Georgia Institute of Technology that provides systems engineering and prototyping, threat systems R&D, materials and applied electromagnetics research, and test and evaluation support to government and commercial clients.
