DLA Awards $113M Fuel Supply Contract to Refinery Associates of Texas

OilPipesRefinery Associates of Texas based in New Braunfels has won a $113, 067, 273 contract to help the Defense Logistics Agency deliver fuel products to military services.

DLA’s energy arm at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, received five proposals for the economic-price-adjustment contract through a competitive procurement, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work will occur in Texas, Qatar and the Indian Ocean atoll of Diego Garcia through Jan. 30, 2016.

DLA is using fiscal 2015 defense working capital funds for the fuel procurement effort.
