Bill Aubin, formerly vice president of CounterTack‘s federal business, has joined HyTrust as VP for federal sales and brings almost 20 years of technology sales experience in the private and public sectors.
HyTrust said Tuesday Aubin’s experience covers strategy development,  account management, sales leadership and systems integrator relationship management.
“We all know the challenges that come with pursuing federal contracts, and Bill has built extensive experience in this specialized field, ” said Rudy Cifolelli, senior vice president of sales at HyTrust.
“At a time when so many government agencies are moving to virtualized infrastructures and the cloud while looking to maintain the highest levels of security, we look forward to growing our presence in this very important market.”
Aubin has also worked at Imperva,  Niksun and SecureWave (now Lumension Security).
