Abry Buys Program Mgmt Software Firm Compusearch; Reid Jackson Comments

acquisitionBoston-based investment firm Abry Partners has purchased acquisition and program management technology provider Compusearch from an Arlington Capital PartnersJMI Equity alliance for an undisclosed sum.

Abry aims to help build up Compusearch’s portfolio of software products designed to address government contract transparency and compliance issues, Compusearch CEO Reid Jackson said Friday.

SunTrust provided senior financing to Abry for the transaction.

Compusearch’s software offerings include Prism for federal acquisition life cycle management, TopVue for program implementation and deliverable support and SpectrumCLM for contract management.

The company delivers the products to customers via a software-as-a-service model.
