Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has won a $174.5 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force‘s intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and distributed command ground system operations.
The company will work with the service to process and distribute ISR data to ground troops under the follow-on contract,  Raytheon said Tuesday.
“Our contractor field service representatives offer mission critical expertise and are intimately familiar with how entire systems work which allows them to successfully support the DCGS mission, ” said Todd Probert, vice president of the mission support and modernization mission area within Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services.
The Raytheon team will also work to maintain ground systems, check pre-flight conditions, analyze post-mission issues and install new systems.
