Preferred Systems Solutions has acquired Global Services & Solutions Inc. for an undisclosed amount in a move to pursue business opportunities within the Defense Department.
PSS also appointed Jim Ballard, formerly president of GSS, as president of its federal services group, the company said Thursday.
“The acquisition of GSS strengthens our long-standing commitment to working with our government partners to efficiently and effectively accomplish their critical national security missions, †said Scott Goss, CEO of PSS.
Tysons Corner-based PSS provides of information technology, enterprise resource planning, program management and financial consulting services.
Ballard previously served as chief operating officer and president at Perot Systems Government Services, where he oversaw the company’s growth strategy, daily operations and business development initiatives.
