The U.S. Navy‘s law enforcement agency has awarded MicroPact a $12.9 million contract to supply a technology to help the organization manage criminal cases involving maritime personnel.
MicroPact will provide its entellitrak case management platform to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service for tracking investigations and incident reports across the Navy and Marine Corps, the company said Monday.
Kris Collo, MicroPact president and chief executive, said the software is designed to consolidate multiple investigative systems and secure collaboration between users.
NCIS will use the web-based enterprise platform to integrate the service’s judicial law enforcement and correctional systems, according to MicroPact.
The contract includes product software licenses as well as maintenance and professional services.
