Mike Knowles, Mike Twyman Join Cubic’s Defense Leadership Team


CubicLogoMike Knowles and Mike Twyman, veterans in the defense business, have both joined Cubic Corp. (NYSE: CUB) in executive roles within the San Diego-based company’s defense business unit.

Knowles has been named vice president and deputy general manager of the air ranges and Live-Virtual-Constructive integrated training campaign business segment, Cubic said Wednesday.

Twyman has been appointed senior VP of the communications, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance division and will oversee program and strategy execution across Cubic’s portfolio.

Knowles served as a mission commander evaluator for the U.S. Navy before he held program management and engineering flight test roles at Photon Research Associates and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).

The 20-plus-year defense and aerospace sector veteran previously worked at Rockwell Collins for 10 years before joining Cubic.

Prior to Cubic, Twyman served as SVP and GM of Northrop’s defense systems division, VP of integrated C3I systems, VP of joint network systems and VP of communication and information systems during his three-decade career there.
