Craig McCullough Named Public Sector SVP at Riverbed | Aternity

Craig McCullough, former senior vice president of BeyondTrust’s public sector business, has been appointed to the same position at San Francisco-based digital and cloud technology provider Riverbed | Aternity.

McCullough will aim to strengthen Riverbed | Aternity’s business relationships with government clients across information technology and security programs, the company said Wednesday.

He previously held leadership positions at CommVault, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) and GTSI.

In the same announcement, Riverbed | Aternity said technology industry veteran Alex Thurber joined the company as SVP of global partners and alliances and he will oversee the company’s partner and channel ecosystem initiatives in his new position.

Thurber’s career has included time at Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), Blackberry (NYSE: BB), McAfee (Nasdaq: MCFE) and Pulse Secure.

“We’ve appointed two proven technology executives with long histories of leading strategic partner and government-focused programs, while delivering a top-notch customer experience,” said Shaun Bierweiler, chief revenue officer of Riverbed | Aternity.
