Mary Ann Hopkins: Parsons to Perform Environmental Remediation Work for Air Force

Parsons Corp. has been selected to conduct environmental remediation at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s forward operating site in Galena, Alaska.

The company will work to construct and maintain remediation systems for contaminated soil and groundwater, the company said Tuesday.

“Parsons has supported AFCEC with planning, environmental, and remediation services for more than 23 years, and we look forward to continuing our relationship through this task order, ” said Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons’ government group president.

The company will provide landfarming, bioremediation, soil vapor extraction and disposal of former release areas to the Air Force under the six-year task order.
