EngineeringAFJacobs Government Services (NYSE: JEC), Zapata and a MWH-Cardno TEC Baker-A joint venture have won positions on a potential seven-year, $500 million contract to provide architect-engineer services for the U.S. Air Force‘s environmental projects.

The Air Force conducted a qualifications-based selection process under Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.6 and the Brooks Act and received 37 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Awardees will compete for task orders to help the Air Force’s Civil Engineering Center carry out planning, programming, restoration and conservation work at government sites in the U.S. and worldwide.

Other potential work sites could include contingency operations, remote, austere or hostile locations.
