Tracey Haslam Appointed Harris CapRock President; Jim Morris Comments

Harris CaprockTracey Haslam, formerly vice president and general manager of Harris CapRock Communications’ energy business, has been appointed president of the Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) business unit.

Haslam will report directly to Jim Morris, group president of Harris Integrated Network Solutions, and be responsible for Harris CapRock’s satellite and terrestrial communications services for the energy, government and maritime clients, Harris said Friday.

“Tracey’s extensive experience leading global operations and her results-driven focus will be tremendous assets as Harris CapRock expands its technology and service offerings, ” said Morris.

The 25-year veteran in the oil, defense and technology industries previously served as vice president of strategic markets for Honeywell Process Solutions before joining Harris.

Haslam held various roles in general management, strategy, marketing, sales and business development operations at Honeywell.

Harris also announced that Harris CapRock will be based in Houston, Texas.
