Brian Moran Named Boeing President of EU, NATO Relations; Shep Hill Comments

Boeing Logo w-borderBrian Moran, formerly Boeing’s (NYSE: BA) international activities lead in Northern Europe, has been appointed president of European Union and NATO relations for the aerospace contractor.

Moran will report to Shep Hill, senior vice president of business development and strategy at Boeing International, and represent Boeing at the EU, European Parliament and NATO, Boeing said Tuesday.

Hill said Moran will aim to help further the industry’s safety and environmental performance goals by working with the EU.

Moran will be based in Brussels, Belgium and succeeds Antonio De Palmas, who took the role of president at Boeing Italy.

In his most recent role, Moran worked to develop government and industry alliances for Boeing International while based in Germany.

Prior to that, he served as director of communications for the business development and strategic integration organization of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Moran also has served as senior manager of international business development in the Nordic region and as development lead of Boeing’s industrial participation programs in Switzerland and UK.

Prior to those roles, he was chief of staff to the president and CEO of Boeing’s defense business unit.
