Robin Matlock, formerly acting chief marketing officer at VMware (NYSE: VMW), has been appointed to the position on a full-time basis, BtoB Magazine reported Monday.
She will oversee the company’s marketing programs globally in that position, according to the magazine.
Before stepping into the acting role in June, Matlock served as the organization’s vice president of corporate marketing, the article says.
Matlock succeeds Rick Jackson, who left the Palo Alto, Calif.-based virtualization software provider to join Rackspace Inc. as CMO, according to the report.
