Ray Ozzie, James Skinner, Robert Bennett Elected to HP Board

HP logoRay Ozzie, former chief technical officer at Microsoft, is among three new appointees to the board of directors at Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), All Things Digital reported Monday.

Arik Hesseldahl writes HP also named James Skinner, formerly CEO of McDonald’s, and Robert Bennett, former CEO of Liberty Media, to its board.

Ozzie left his post at Microsoft in late 2010 and founded a new venture called Cocomo in 2012.

HP began a board shakeup after Ray Lane resigned as chairman in April, according to the report.

Ralph Whitworth, who succeeded Lane on an interim basis, said in a statement on the HP website that the firm continues its search for a permanent chairman and additional board members.
