Salient Federal Solutions has won a $5.7 million contract to operate and maintain the Federal Election Commission’s electronic filing system that works to transmit election-related reports.
Salient will help the FEC examine financial statements from political committees, instruct the committees on filing their reports and aim to help ensure compliance, Salient said Tuesday.
The contract also includes managed services, electronic filing and disclosure systems operations and maintenance, and help desk services to electronic filing office users.
Work will occur over a six-month base period and could extend over four option years.
Salient has designed, developed and operated applications and systems for the FEC’s information technology office under the FEC IT Support contract.
